the room was clean everything was in order
the bathroom was small the shower space was insufficient movement was difficult i also found the single triple plug socket inadequate several devices require charging now there were no bedside lights which was inconvenient

Acceptable stay overall
excellent breakfast charming hosts small room inconvenient socket
Maddie and John were charming. They wanted to ensure my stay was pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. I recommend contacting them directly with any questions.
My double room was very small. The en suite had a tiny basin and only one triple plug socket. This was not good as I needed multiple chargers. The en suite had a small shower and toilet with a step. This would not be good for elderly guests.

The room was clean, spacious, and well equipped for my stay. I slept VERY well each night. John cooks a great breakfast with excellent produce. I loved the poached eggs. The bar provided ample space to relax away from the room..
The room had limited plug sockets, a slight inconvenience, as I needed to charge multiple devices.

The room included fresh towels folded into decorative swans. There was also complimentary shower gel, shampoo. a shower cap. Bottled water, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and biscuits came supplied and staff offered refills.

adequate stay, some room for improvement
small double room limited sockets
The double room felt quite cramped. the en suite basin was inside the bedroom. there was only one triple plug socket. More are needed now that many devices require charging. the small step into the shower and toilet might pose a problem for older or larger individuals.

Really good Hospitality and Comfort
warm welcome comfortable beds
The owners gave a warm welcome upon arrival and remained approachable throughout my visit. I found the room clean and tidy. Comfortable beds and numerous amenities were available. I particularly enjoyed the varied breakfast options.
The limited number of accessible charging points in the room was a small inconvenience. I needed more than one outlet for all my devices. This meant I had to prioritize which devices to charge overnight.
